We are the Northwest Arkansas Kindred, an apolitical Heathen community based in the Fayetteville area for over 20 years, and known informally as the “White Wolf” Kindred. To learn the story behind our moniker, please visit our History section.
Our purpose as a Kindred is to practice the reconstruction of traditional, Northern European polytheistic religion best known by the terms Heathenism and/or Ásatrú. We not only strive to provide our members a community of fellow Heathens, but to create a family of shared values, faith, and friendship. We gather together socially, for religious study, and on such holy days as Midsummer and Yule.
While we are deeply proud of our indigenous Northern European religious, cultural, and historical heritages, we welcome all people and do not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, religion, age, marital status, national origin, disability, or veteran status. We stand against any use of Northern European religion and culture to advance causes of racism, sexism, homophobia, white supremacy, and/or any other forms of prejudice.
